This blog series will document my journey back to my best, healthy self. I’m going to focus on ALL the avenues to wholeness:
The mental approach will be affirming my love for my body and all the rest of me. I know the power of the mind over matter, and this makes it extra fun to see just how much I can influence my own physical makeup through the power of the mind.
The physical approach combines intake and movement. I’ve slowly begun the recovery process from the Covid Quarantine period. I’ve been curbing my eating, replacing some meals with smoothies, and taking long walks a few times a week now.
I’m at my heaviest ever, and feeling it in my knees and feet. This is not okay. I turn 50 later this year, and I am ready to feel my BEST SELF!
This will be my birthday present to myself, and I intend to achieve impressive results, and celebrate when I get there.
